About Kaye

Kaye Judt first learned to embroider at the age of 7 and hasn't put down the needle since.  She credits her love of fine needlework to the inspiration and enthusiasm she has obtained through membership in the Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA) and other guilds both local and national.

She has taught embroidery at the national Assembly for Embroiderers for the National Academy of Needlearts (NAN), EGA national and regional Seminars, and the national Celebration for the Quilters' Hall of Fame.

Inspired by stationary with tatted motifs, Kaye learned to shuttle tat in the early 1990’s and needle tatting came shortly after.  Kaye has authored five books on tatting: Oh My Stars!, Motifs for Marie, A Little o’ This A Little O’ Tat, Treasures in Tatting, and More Of This and Tat.  She is an international tatting teacher.

Kaye teaches Design for Tatting for the Online Tatting Classes and has Teaching Certification with the National Academy of Needlearts.
